To become a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Explorer, you must be:
  • 14 to 21 years old
  • Enrolled in high school or a local college
  • A good student with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and have regular attendance
  • Of good moral character with no criminal record
  • Able to attend meetings and training sessions by arranging your own transportation
  • Must be physically able to exercise and able to stand for long periods of time

Meetings are routinely scheduled for Tuesday nights from 6:45PM to 9:00PM at the Explorer Office in the Administrative Support Building. 14500 49th Street North, Clearwater, FL.
