Twelve members of Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post #900 participated in the Florida Association of Police Explorer’s Delegate’s training event and pistol competition held in Crystal River, Florida on January 24th & 25th, 2012. Explorer Posts from around the state met for a full day of training to learn about building clearing tactics. The pistol competition was held at the Crystal River County Sheriff's Office Shooting Range.
Explorer Sergeant Keith Felsman won 1st place in the Expert Division, Explorer Kyle Hughes won 3rd in the Marksman Division and Explorer Nick Sznerch won 2nd Place Tyro Division.
Explorer Sergeant Keith Felsman, Explorer Kyle Hughes, Explorer Jenna Deery and Explorer Nick Sznerch participated in the Team Shooting Event and took 1st Place Overall.
