The Explorer Post 900 Honor Guard posts colors at the 2nd Annual Memorial Service for Service Animals at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens Pet Cemetery on Tuesday, February 26, 2008.
Explorer Lieutenant Thomas Garmon, Explorer Sergeant Nick Pryor, and Explorers Robert Blanton, Michael Metzger, and Tyler Lawson proudly carried the American Flag and state flag at the opening of this special service intended to show respect and admiration for the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office canine members and their handlers who have faithfully served the citizens of Pinellas County. Twenty five members of Post 900 stood at attention at the graveside as the animals were honored.
